Who We Are Now

The Reed City Area District Library system is located at 410 W. Upton Ave., Reed City, MI. The Reed City Area District Library provides free services to all residents living within the City of Reed City, Village of Hersey and the surrounding Townships of Cedar, Green, Hersey, Lincoln and Richmond with services available to all others for a fee.

The library system holds over 24,000 materials including over 23,000 books and magazines, and 600 audio books in compact disk or cassette. Over 650 movies in DVD or VHS format are also now available for check-out.

In total, over 32,000 items were checked out of the system during fiscal year 2014-15! In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s fiber-optic connection, enjoy state-of-the-art WiFi service, view a Library exhibit, attend one of the Library’s many events or utilize one of the Library's many convenient services such as faxing, copying or printing.
