Who We Are Now

The Reed City Public Library system is located at 410 W. Upton Ave., Reed City, MI. The Reed City Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the City of Reed City, Village of Hersey and the surrounding Townships of Cedar, Green, Hersey, Lincoln and Richmond with services available to all others for a fee.

The library system holds over 24,000 materials including over 23,000 books and magazines, and 300 compact discs. Over 650 DVDs are also now available for check-out.

In total, over 33,000 items were checked out of the system during fiscal year 2011-12! In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s fiber-optic connection, enjoy state-of-the-art Wi-fi service, view a Library exhibit, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
