Read-To-The-Dogs

The last Read to the Dogs event scheduled for this summer is Thursday, August 1, 2013. A non-critical audience reading experience.
Read-To-The-Dogs

Golden Retrievers, Boston Terriers and Labra doodles, oh my!  We had eleven children and six dogs join us for our Read-To-The-Dogs program on Thursday, July 25th.  It is debatable whether the kids or the dogs enjoy this reading experience more.  It is a different and  fun reading experience for kids that don't have a pet dog  or even ones that do.  The reading experience is supposed to be relaxing and fun for the kids and obviously, they are reading to a very non-critical audience!

These Thursday Read-To-The-Dogs programs are made possible by Spectrum Health's therapy dogs program.  Many, many thanks to all the volunteer handlers and the likeable and unique pooches who make the program possible!

The last Thursday Read-To-The-Dogs will occur on Thursday, August 1st from 11:30 am-12:30 pm.  All ages welcome!  Just drop in to attend all or part of the program.
