The Reed City Area District Library Board is accepting resumes for a Library Director of the Reed City Area District Library (RCADL). The Library Director works under the general administrative direction of the Library Board.

The position directs and participates in all operations and professional activities of RCADL, prepares and administers operating budgets, oversees personnel, directs the development of the library collection, oversees the delivery of all library services, and recommends policy and financial considerations to the RCADL Board.

Qualifications required: A minimum of a high school diploma with three years librarian experience and/or college degree preferred. Must possess or obtain a Level IV Professional Library Certification within one year. Skilled knowledge in technology, library administration, public finance, and personnel administration is required.

Compensation: $32,000-$38,000. PTO offered. Some nights and weekends required. The RCADL is open 35 hours a week.
