In order to get a library card at the Reed City Area District Library, you must be over the age of 16 and have a valid State ID or Driver's License that shows you live within one of our contracting locations of the City of Reed City, Cedar Township, Green Charter Township, Hersey Township, Lincoln Township, or Richmond Township! Students and employees of the RCAPS may get a card free of charge with their student ID regardless of where they are located. You must apply for a library card in person at this time. If your ID does not match your current residency in one of our contracting townships then you must provide 2 proof of residency forms (utility bill/mortgage/lease, property tax receipt) when applying for a resident card. Non-residents can get a library card for a $45 non-resident fee.
